The Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic came to a close today with the 7th and final stage outside State College, PA. The South African superpower Matthys Beukes took a commanding victory on today's shorter, XC style course. Jeremiah Bishop leaped out of the field early but suffered two flats the forced him into third. Justin Lindine had his best ride of the week to finish second on the stage which he won last year. Stage 3 winner Barry Wicks continued his string of bad luck with a pair of flats the cost him his second place in GC. Final standings were 1. Bishop, 2. Beukes, 3. Wicks, 4. Snyder, 5. Edsall.
