BigBikesMedia is really just Thom Parsons: Writer, reporter, rider, racer, ninja-videographer, explorer, amateur featherweight Sumo wrestler.
We provide inimitable documentation of an event, doing dozens of pre and post-race interviews with the racers and producing super-awesome highlights.
What we offer over a traditional media outlet is big-time fun factor — it's really a gift from the promoter, not only to him or herself, but to all the racers and fans. It's also an added motivator for sponsors, they're going to be exposed to thousands more people than they would have been otherwise. We work with promoters to make sure sponsors get maximum coverage in the videos.
Our videos aren’t the most polished, but they tell the story better than anything else. Sure you can hire a wedding videographer to shoot your race (for about twice as much as we’ll charge). He’ll get some gorgeous (and incredibly boring) shots of racers rolling down the pavement or through a grassy field, but he won’t be everywhere on the course like BigBikesThom will be. Nor is it likely that he can strap on a GoPro and keep up with Jeremiah Bishop (albeit briefly).
